Why can't I get a stylist to do what I ask?

A couple of years ago my daughter (she's now 11) had a beautiful haircut that was basically "the Rachel". For some reason we have not been able to find anyone else who can give her this style. That stylist is no longer at the salon we went to and nobody seems to know what we're talking about when we describe the style! We have gone to all sorts of places --some that charge $12 and some places that charge more than $75-- and nobody seems to have any idea of how to go about getting this very COMMON hair style! One stylist even cut her layers with a razor and left them very blunt! I have had stylists argue with me about about the length of the shortest layer (my daughter's hair is VERY fine and has no body). I have even taken a picture of my daughter when she had that haircut with us to show exactly what we want and have had the stylists groan under their breaths!

Are we asking for the wrong thing? Are we asking too much?

I love "the rachel" cut it's so gorgeous. Well, I don't think the stylist have the right to get upset you have every right to you get what you pay for. Anyways, maybe the reason no one has been able to duplicate the look is because maybe your daughter's hair texture has changed..sometimes that happens as people grow. and so now the same hair cut does not give her the same effect as it did before. Other than that the only thing i can say is a bring a picture of rachael and make sure u are clear with the sylist about what u want before they do anything to your daughters hair

ARE YOU SERIOUS............IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HAIR STYLE LIKE A CELEBRITY OR A DAMN PICTURE UNLESS YOUR DAUGHTERS HAIR IS EXACTLY LIKE "RACHELS" IN TEXTURE, THE WAY IT GROWS..........WE ARE STYLISTS....NOT MAGICIANS....YOUR DAUGHTER SHOULD BE HERSELF NOT A CELEBRITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the "Rachel"! I would suggest bringing in a picture of Rachel with her haircut and also a picture of your daughter with that haircut. Just because "Friends" doesn't air anymore doesn't mean people should forget about it!!
