Anyone have any styling tips for me so I won't have to use a straightener all the time? Like, w

For example, when my hair stylist cut my hair, all he had to do was blowdry it a certain way, and it looked good.

But I can't make my hair look the way I want unless I straighten it, and it irritates me. My hair's naturally curly/wavy, and since it's short, it look so weird if I don't do anything to it. Here's kind of my hair:

[You have to take out the spaces, though.]:

This is what I do...

1. Wash, condition, %26amp; rinse hair.

2. Apply dimesized drop of BEDHEAD: Superstar blow dry lotion to roots.

3. Apply nickelsized drop of PAUL MITCHELL: Super Skinny Serum to ends

4. Blowdry hair using roundbrush. [mine is metal]

- 2" sections at a time

- If you have the nozzel attachment [it sorta looks like the end of a vaccum hose] use it, because it helps direct the air coming out of the dryer so you can concentrate on one section, instead of having your hair fly up everywhere, and achieve your style easier.

5. I usually straighten mine afterwards because I'm a perfectionist, but you probably won't need to.

6. Finish with BEDHEAD: Headrush Shine Mist Spray

Use Morocan Oil as a straightner, it will make your hair manageable, and look great.

It's late, I've worked all night and I don't feel like taking out all the space to look at your hair, but I will tell you what I do to make my hair straight when I blow dry it. It's naturally curly/wavy as well. I use my brush and run it along the hair downwards pulling the hair dryer along it in the direction of the brush. Usually I pull this under when it's short so it doesn't curl outwards, otherwise it definitely looks weird. I'm not sure if it will work for you as well but it might.

use a smoothing cream and a paddle or vent brush to blow dry straight. when your done drying hit it with the cold shot button

you like use a round brush, and the blow dryer...or if you dont have one, then just aim the blowdryer down, and it will straighten it.

i'm sorry to break it to you but... if your hair is curly get a hair cut that flatters you

alot of girls would kill for curly hair

I have curly/wavy hair and i think it looks best when it's short but I have it long right nwo anyway

today i washed and diffused my hair with a bit of "catwalk; curlz rock" while i was making arts and crafts; i literally was holding the blowdryer with my armpit AHAH and when i went to meet my friends I got sooo many compliments

people love curly hair because not alot of ppl can pull it off

i used to straighten my hair ALL the time...i still do every so often but all you gotta do is get a GOOD hair cut that flatters your curls and you'll rock the town

you have to work WITH your hair; not against it...you'll never win without a tough struggle
