Scene hair help?

(Im a girl but im using my dad's account.) I need a new hair cut before school starts but i dont know what to get or how to describe it to a hair stylist. I want something short, kinda emo/scene. Im allowed to put a little bit of color in it but i cant completely dye my hair. Do you have any pictures? what should i ask for?

Scene hair help?

My hair used to be "scene". So basically, just tell your hairdresser to give you choppy layers (I recommend using a pirouette razor because it works well - or just a razor should do).

Make sure your hairdresser knows how long you want the length of your hair and bangs to be.

Here are some pics of short scene hair you could show your

hairdresser so he/she can picture the way it should turn out:

Oh, and when you get your scene hair, a good way to keep it

volumized is to tilt your head upside-down (making your hair hang) and just spray a certain amount.

Scene hair help?

I think it's best to look at a bunch of pictures, not necessarily scene, and find something that looks good on you. Why would you just want a blatant "scene' haircut that might look silly on you? Don't rule out other hair styles.

madradhair.livejournal.com

That site is great, in the userinfo they have links to TONS of photobuckets with hair help. And all the hair is some sort of subculture, and well organized. I'm 100% sure you'll find something you like there.

I want to color my hair, myself or professionally?would this color look okay on me?

I was wonderign if I should color my hair.and a good product to use. do you think loreal natural match is good? i have a medium to dark brown hair color and would liek to go to a nice chesnut./red color? my skin is pale and i have olive green eyes? do you think this color would look okay on me?i love the color and everything. shoudl i just go to my hair stylist where i can get it bleached and have her do it for me? ( i need a hair cut anyways the last time i got one was in may so i have loads of split ends ) lol

or shoudl i just do it myself? but im afraid of messing it up? the only time ive died my hair was liek 6 years ago and i got high lights...

I want to color my hair, myself or professionally?would this color look okay on me?

See your hairstylist if you want to make a major change. Go to beautyriot.com or matrix.com and print an image of what specific color you would like. Show the photo to your hairstylist and she or he will be able to determine what color will work well as far as your skin tone and eye color are. Good luck. Hope this helps! :)

I want to color my hair, myself or professionally?would this color look okay on me?

You definately should go to a salon if you want to dye your entire head of hair by yourself. Chances are, as this is your first time dying your hair , that you will mess it up and have to go to a salon anyway to get it fixed. Salons always do a much nicer job on the hair color anyway, since the products that they use are better quality than what you would buy at a drugstore. If the hair color is so different from your natural color that you need to bleach your hair first, DO NOT bleach your hair yourself. You could risk breaking all of your hair and damaging it for quite some time.

I think that the color would look good on you from the way you have described yourself. I can't be the best judge unless I see a picture of you, so you probably should ask your friends or family.

Good luck with getting your hair done!

Does anyone have a picture of a person with hair like my avatar?

Do you know of any famous people/pictures on the internet of someone who has hair like my avatar? I really like that hairstyle, mine is similar, but it's not quite like that. I would like to get a picture so when I get my hair cut in a couple weeks, I can bring the picture and the stylist can cut my hair just like I want it.

Ashley tisdales hair?

i am going to get my hair done today, %26amp; i want my hair cut %26amp; highlighted like ashley tisdales.

can anyone send me some good pictures of her hair to show to my hair stylist?

Ashley tisdales hair?

Ashley Tisdale is naturally a brunette. And her hair is short *to her chin* She wears extensions. Because when she tried out for the Suite Life of Zack and Cody they cut her long hair a couple of inches shorter and died in blonde then it broke of somewhat from the bleaching. You can see her natural hair in a past issue of CosmoGirl Prom Edition on her official website

Best Hair Salon in San Diego?

My hair stylist has turned into a lunatic so I need to change over to another salon.

Does anyone have any great salons they can recommend? I know money gets better hair cuts, but I'm a broke college student, so I can only afford up to about $100-150 for cut and highlights.

Thank you!!

Best Hair Salon in San Diego?

My family back in San Diego always go to this guy named William. I'm not sure exactly where in SD its located, but everyone tells me he's really good. Just try looking him up in the yellow pages.

Hair Pic??

Im getting my hair cut. I want it to be layered at an angel so that the front is shorter than the back but I cant find any good pictures to show my hair stylist does anybody have a good link to a picture of this style or at least a hair style website so I can think of some other ideas??

Hair Pic??

um no. but i do no if you type some in google it will come up.

Hair Pic??

Jenny McCarthy has that haircut and it is really really cute! Look at these pics and maybe print them off and show them to your hairstylist. No wait...I just looked and misread your question. You want your hair the opposite of Jenny's. Oh well, if you change your mind, go look at the pics below:

How do i define my hair layers?

Ok well i got my hair cut very choppy and lots of layers and it looked awsome in the salon. But my layers dont stand out at all, and even though i used the same products as my hair stylist it just doesnt work!

How can i get my hair like this--

The top part of her hair.

http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v651/h...

How can i define my layers like the top part of her hair?

Oh yah and i straighten my hair so something that works with that.

And NO POMADE, WAX, OR PASTE! those all make my hair really gross and greasy!

Thanks so much!

How do i define my hair layers?

try a texturizing cream-- KMS has a good one as does redkin-- I know you mentioned no too any wax, pomade or paste-- but try a paste by johnathan-- you can find him on sephora.com or qvc. he has a product called dirt-- it is amazing and it won't leave your hair feeling gross.

How do i define my hair layers?

Use a tiny bit of texturizer just on the parts you want to define.

How do i define my hair layers?

well ...for the bangs a straight iron will work. part your hair to one side and straighten it. you use a curling iron for the rest.

How do i define my hair layers?

by adding a tone lighter or darker high lights

How do i define my hair layers?

I know what you mean about products making you hair greasy. I'm actually the total opposite, I have short spiky hair but the same problem with the greasy issue. My hair is razor cut so it looks choppy but only when I use Bed Head Cocky. That is absolutely the only thing I can use that's not greasy but really works well separating hair for that choppy look. Hope this helps.

How long should it take my hair to grow?

Well I just recently had hair a little past shoulder length and the stylist that did my hair last month(February) didnt trim my ends correctly, therefor leaving me with both short and long lengths of hair. I got my hair done today and the stylist cut my hair evenly to make up for what the other stylist did, so now my hair is like at the back of my neck. He told me to come back every 5 weeks to keep trimming my ends so my hair can grow back to its length and heathier/longer. So how long should it take my hair to grow back to its length and longer?

How long should it take my hair to grow?

Hair grows an avg of 1/2" per month. That's an avg. Some grows faster %26amp; some slower. If u go for a "trim"every 5 weeks u'll need to stress ur growing it %26amp; only want the ends nipped - that u don't want to be able to see any hair on the floor after. If u just go in %26amp; say "trim" they're likely to cut 1/2" which will take off what u just grew.

How long should it take my hair to grow?

i think it grows an inch a month . :)

How long should it take my hair to grow?

Well, my hair personally takes a long time. But normal hair should take about 20-30 weeks. :)

How long should it take my hair to grow?

it grows 3 inches in one month.

How long should it take my hair to grow?

what do you think? do you like this style? you got it cut for a reason before. some girls look more sexy with short hair and others look better with long hair. check the mirrow and your inner mind instead of other's opinion.

How long should it take my hair to grow?

hey dont feel bad i had went to the hair salon 2 days ago to get my hair trimmed. mined you my hair was to my waist and i told her to cut 2'' inches off of my hair she ends up cutting my hair up to my shoulders

How do I get this look without the hair stylist?

http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i288/v...

http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i288/v...

But with different colors. I already have layered hair, but I just might get it cut not dyed at the salon. Can anyone give me instructions how to dye my own hair like this?

please + thank you =]

How do I get this look without the hair stylist?

You would part your hair across in a zig zag. Pin the top half above your head and get a friend to help you colour the bottom half. Given that your hair is blonde this is the way a hairdresser would do it but you haven't stated what colour your hair is.

Hair emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I am going to the salon soon to have my hair cut I have shoulder length brown hair with layers in it and i have a round face should I go for side bangs if I should what should I ask my hair stylist for by side bangs I mean this:

http://www.ashleytisdale.com/images_pub/...

thanks in advance

Hair emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Okay,I have side bangs...

I tried going for that exact picture when I first got them...I hated them hated hated because those side bangs cover most of her forehead...and that's a bad thing because that strand of hair to the far righ(our right not hers) of her bangs NEVER stays in place..You'll find you self pulling your bangs to the side all of the time and since they don't stay to the side they get in your eyes!So I took a little less than half and clipped it with a barrette and hid the barrette under all of my hair!!

Bottom line don't get the to where they cover your whole forehead(basically)!

Hoped this helped!!

Good luck!!

There are other pix of ashley tisdale with bangs that aren't so full!!

Mine look similar to this

http://www.theradreport.com/wp-content/u...

Hair emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

hi i am a hairdresser some people find it hard to tell me what style they would like just take a picture with you to help you explain what you want.

Hair emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

side bangs are always cute! your stylist can make them so they fit your face. plus, if you don't feel like having the bangs down, you can always pin them up and that will look cute too! :)

Hair emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

i have a round face too, always go with side bangs. they dont make our faces look so full and round then make it look a bit slimmer, i got them today too. Good luck:)

Hair emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

ya i think that would look cute with brown hair

hope this helps

Hair emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

OKay tell your stylist you want shaggy side bangs that go just pass your eyebrows. But you don't want them perfect, otherwise, it will be to hard to manage especially when you have to trim them yourself every other week. Make sure you say SIDE SWEPT because thats how Ashley Tisdales are and that;s what you want.

Hair emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

just bring that picture with you and ask for those bangs.

Hair emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

side bangs always look awsome! hairdressers dont always noe wut u want so be sure to bring in ur pic.

Does anyone know of a really good hair salon in Missouri?

If you do know of any please tell me the name of the salon and the person to go to. I need someone that can give a percision cut and is excellent with color. Any where in the Springfield area, or Ozark area. Doesn't have to be those areas, just kind of around them. I need my hair cut fixed and my color. Please help me if you can, I'm desperate to look normal again. The last stylist that cut my hair haphazardly chopped up my layers and it's so uneven and doesn't blend.

Does anyone know of a really good hair salon in Missouri?

Try to find an AVEDA salon they are always tops. With natural products and plenty of training in how to use them.

Where can i find Funky Afro Salon to give my relaxed hair a STYLE in London!?

I need a haircut. I have shoulderlength relaxed afro hair but it has no shape or definition or style or anything - it just grows and I relax it. I go to a black hair dressers to get it relaxed but i've never had it styled and wouldn't know what to ask for - would love to know of a really professional Afro hair stylist who can give me a wicked cool Eve-esque hairstyle / hair cut in london. Any advice? x

Where can i find Funky Afro Salon to give my relaxed hair a STYLE in London!?

google maps... search "funky afro hair london" that's what i did and tons of salons came up in london that specialize in black/ afro hair... i can't give you a link though because it doesn't work

Who is the best hair stylist and hair cutter in the Toronto area?

Ii have hair down to my waist and want to cut it. However, I want someone who can really understand how my hair behaves and can give me a great cut that I can manage myself later. Nothing fancy - just something classy, easy and of course attractive and suits me and my lifestyle.

Who is the best hair stylist and hair cutter in the Toronto area?

Jie Matar. hes arguable the best stylist in canada. hes amazing at making everyone look their best while accomodating their needs. however hes extremely pricey. hes at Salon Jie on avenue road. anyone at the salon should be able to give you a great cut, but he is the BEST

About hair?

I wanna get my hair cut but I'm not quite sure what style I want. Will the hair-stylist be able to help me? The last one I had made me go through a book, pick a hair style I liked, and then she just replicated it. I don't want that. I know its a stupid question but I really do want my hair to look nice, not perfect, just nice. Thanks for everyones help.

About hair?

just tell the stylist u have no idea what u want and would like some suggestions

About hair?

(This is lame advice, but..):

There's a LOT of rad haircuts in those books..

If you like a haircut, ask the hair stylist if it would suit you b4 you actually get it cut.

Just an idea: You can try to color your hair, too! Or curling it(?)

About hair?

you can't get it cut if yoUr talking about ur avatar so no if that's what u mean then no u can only change it but there is a trillion options and u can always change it. hope this helps

I need a new style and cut . I already have semi-scene hair. PLEASE HELP !?

my hair currently-(kind of)

http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b377/_...

I already have Semi-scene hair. ( the picture is kind of old.) But i now tease it and hair-spray it everyday. But my layers are all out of wack and i'm having a hard time explainging to my hair stylist what i want. I now what longer pieces of hair underneath. But other than that i cant figure out how to show her what i want.

SO either please help me by sending some good medium length scene hair pictures,

OR help me explain how i want it.

p.s the layers on the right are real big and poofy ( cuzz they are all uber short) but when i volumnize it they look awkward and then the other side ( left/ flat side) looks awkward too. So i dont know wether i should get shorter layers on top still, or let them grow out or now.

AGHH just help me PLEASE !!!!

=]

I need a new style and cut . I already have semi-scene hair. PLEASE HELP !?

I definitely would like you to keep the legth in the front, but go much shorter on the sides so we can see more of your face. You are hiding behind too much hair in that picture.

Check out these links below.

I answered your other question, check some of the linkys :D

Hair??????

I got my hair cut and I showed her this pic and my hair was suppost to look like this http://www.lynnechapman.com/images/longW... but it ended up looking like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/carrierox4e... See where the circle is?? Thats how it looks all around my head, a big bump!! Now what?? My hair is naturally curly and thick like in the pic and I don't want to straghten it all the time or get it cut shorter!!

Everyone on here keeps saying that if I want my hair to look like the 1st link then I am going to have to curl it.... Why didn't the hair stylist tell me that?? Now how can I style it that dosen't take much time?? Should I go back to the hairstylist?? If you think I should go back then what should I ask them to do?? Thanks!!

Hair??????

Maybe You should go to a different hair stylist and ask them what to do about it. ask them to cut it in a way that they think will suit you.

You could use straighteners?

Are there specific hair salons to get "scene" hair?

Last time I went to this hair stylist, they didn't do it right at ALL

I showed them the picture, and all the did was layer my hair.

They didn't even do the pink extensions right! They put it under the layers of my hair.

Jesus, i really didn't want to be rude about it but i couldn't help but go "wtf"

They basically made me direct them of what I wanted.

I showed them the picture an everything, they didn't know what the hell they were doing. I could tell they were confused.

And I asked them what products I could use for teasing my hair.

They never answered me.

It was probably my mom took me to a cheap hairdresser when the whole hair cut, condition, and pink extensions were a total of like $40-50 lol

so yeah. :]

thanks

Are there specific hair salons to get "scene" hair?

The best idea I have for you to to do is to go and look at different hair salons. Look at the kind of atmosphere and kind of hair stylists that they have. Do they have an edgy style for their own hair? Stylists have more of an edgy style usually are the kinds I would recommend going to. I did that when I switched hair dressers and I've never looked back.

Are there specific hair salons to get "scene" hair?

you need a good thickening product like bed head cocky i have it !! it's good and you need hairspray and a teaser comb anf or a brush...go to youtube.com and type in scene hair and or go to phto bucket and trype in scene hair

Are there specific hair salons to get "scene" hair?

Try some clip in hair extensions that wont ruin your hair and can get you that 'scene look' without causing you to become broke! I sell human hair extensions, clip ins. They are great premium quality, made from real human hair, remy, and since it is not synthetic, you can curl, cut, color, or style it as you please. It comes in every length and last forever. I sell full sets, color highlights, and more. contact me at lindsay1026@hotmail.com. Love to hear from you!

What's the best way to grow out your hair, girl style?

My guy friend is growing out his hair because he wants a girly style hair cut like gwen stefani. Don't ask! lol I'm his hair stylist though and was wondering if anyone had any experience in anything like this, or any suggestions? Should I cut along the way, or just wait until it grows out dreadfully long in the coming months and then gurl and cut then?

What's the best way to grow out your hair, girl style?

most probably let it grow out...

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensat

I REALLY like my stylist. She's a doll, and she has cut my hair this style before. Even when we've decided on refinements to this style, I've always been happy with her work. One time she didn't really layer it enough, and I simply went back and she layered it some more. This is more difficult-- it's too short, and the subtle changes which she has made really change the character of the cut.

I like her. We've even talked about going out for coffee together. She knows I'm not quite happy with the cut, but is there a next step? If so, what might it be?

I DEFINITELY don't want to upset or offend her.

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensate me?

Since she's done a good job until now, and you really like her...I would just let it go this time. Make sure to let her know next time she cuts it again, to be careful about the length...and be specific

I have a great stylist that I have been going to for years, but when it comes to my bangs . . .I ALWAYS remind her about my cowlick and that I need it longer. Any good stylist will appreciate these kind of reminders because no one knows your hair like you do.

The good news is that even the worst hair cut will grow out!

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensate me?

Dont ask for compensation. Well whats done its done and your hair will grow back. Its only once she cut too short so maybe you go back and tell her you think its really short and what can you do to your hair maybe like putting hair wax and changing a nice new look :)

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensate me?

It's just hair, and hair grows. If you ask for compensation, you might offend her. But, make sure that you explain about the cut you want the next time you visit the salon. Perhaps then you can also tell her you were having a hard time with the previous cut. Do not expect any compensation even then, but still she'll know what happened and that you will speak up if it happens again.

Good Luck!

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensate me?

you should tell her exactly what you want to tell her. you should not be afraid to tell ANYONE what you are feeling. just be honest and she will respect your thoughts

If my stylist changed my style slightly and cut it too short, how might my salon (a chain) compensate me?

this has happened with me too. my hair stylist cut my hair too short. but i didn't say anything coz she always does a good job with my hair. i let my hair grow for a 2 months and then went to her. i told her that the last time she cut it too short. and she was really understanding and fixed it for me.

so wait around for a few month let ur hair grow. and tell ur hairstylist that u don't want it too short just the way it used to be. i m sure she will understand.

Help with choppy hair? Please answer!?

Ok I have actually, a couple of questions;

How do choppy layers and just choppy look different? Pics?

Also, I want to get my hair cut in a choppy style, and I was wondering if it would work with the kind of hair I have, and the shape of my face;

I have a ovalish-heart shaped face and brown, a little bit wavy hair, that's 14-16 inches long. I want to cut it to about 12 inches.

What do you think? Would that work? Can you give me pics that I can show to my hair stylist?

(I don't want scene hair, just choppy or choppy layers)

And if that hairstyle doesn't work with me, any other hairstyle reccomendations?

And last, if I get my hair cut like that, how much maintenance would it take to look nice? Would I have to buy a good straightener? Or could I work with a cheap one?

Anything else I should/could know?

Thanks so much!

Help!! please, major hair dilemma!?

I got my hair cut yesterday like keira knightleys. I hate it. I had my hair this way about a year or two ago and loved it but this time the stylist cut the bangs too short, where they look nothing like the picture. I had been debating before i had gotten my hair cut if i should get keiras or natalie portmans or winona ryders. Now i am thinking about getting natalie portmans or winona ryders hair because they are shorter then my hair now but will fix the problem with my bangs. here are the pics what do you think

what do you think?

here is natalie portmans

Help!! please, major hair dilemma!?

I wouldn't. These cuts are really really short!

Wait a couple of weeks for the bangs to grow and just try to work with it in the meantime.

If you can't work with it, ask a friend for another stylist name to get an appointment and see what they can do (styling, maybe shaping it up a bit) to get it to work until the bangs grow.

You will regret cutting off the rest of your hair due to a bad haircut...trust me on this.

Looks Awful I would be sooooo embarrassed.

Sorry they all look like booboos to me.

Its just not very feminine either :S i think you should just stick with what you have cause it has to be better than that!

Good luck with whatever you choose anyway x

Help!! please, major hair dilemma!?

natalies hair is cute but you could use other fixes, like sweeping your bangs to one side or do that with a clip or something to pull them back. natalies hair is cute but consult your stylist

Help!! please, major hair dilemma!?

I think you should do it. Go shorter, whats it going to hurt. I have my hair super short too. Once it was messed up by going to a new stylist. SO I shaved it. a month or 2 later I was able to go back to my reg stylist and she did it exactly how I wanted it.

Help!! please, major hair dilemma!?

If you are really uncomfortable with it,

you could ask about getting extensions

until your hair grows back.

Help!! please, major hair dilemma!?

hi. umm, actually i dont personally think thats where you should go. The cut, to me, is really messy and just yucky! But if it's been on your heart to do, go for it, but be prepared for the worst, because it may just be worst than the one you have now. If your looking for that length, i would look around sites and other things before i chose. Luckily, im here to help. I've came up with 3 hairstyles in that length so you just choose which one you like, or go with your original. Good luck, have fun, %26amp;%26amp; be sassy! love, cuteness%26lt;3

What should I tell my hair stylist?

Okay, I have brown hair with light brown/golden highlights. My hair is long (i'm getting it cut to my shoulders) and wavy but I sraighten it. Right now I have side bangs but they hang past my chin lol so they are not really considered bangs. The first time I told her I wanted side bangs she just got sciccors and ran it down the hair to create bangs. I didn't lyk it b/c my bangs were all kinds of diff. lengths. I want side swept bangs they are lyk below my eye and all about the same length. I want to be able to wear my hair down, in a ponytail or bun and have my bangs lyk across my forehead. Right now whenever I do that it hangs straight down in my face.

How exactly do I tell her all of this, lol? Does anyone have a good picture. Is what I am describing side swept bangs?

What should I tell my hair stylist?

side swept bangs do exactly that...go to the side. if you want ones that hang down then just ask for long blunt bangs...make sure you mention that if they are in your eyes a little that doesn;t bother you so you don't wind up with buster brown bangs...

What should I tell my hair stylist?

well if you want your bangs to sweep to the side all you really need is a hair straightener. get your bangs and WITH the straightener, pull them straight forward in front of your face and curve them downward(but not too much). after you have done that like once or twice, then flip them to the side and they should stay in place. you can put a little hairspray if you want also.

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

I'm a 26 yo male...I don't know what's going on with me...but I noticed about 2 weeks ago while i was washing my hair that there was a good amount of hair in my hands...I've been using the same shampoo for 3 years..nothing has changed...I HAVE been very stressed out lately...Is it normal to lose some hair while shampooing...I cut my hair cut about 8 weeks ago and i'm thinking the way my stylist cut it might have something to do with it, too...and help greatly appreciated...

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

Stress can cause hair loss, I would suggest seeing your family doc and have him run a blood test ---just in case your hormone levels are out of wack (they are the first to suffer when your body is under undo stress and you are vitamin deficient).......it's not permanent, once the problem is corrected your hair will come back........it could also be your thyroid.....and again, a simple blood test will check it out, especially if you're also feeling very tired..........good luck to you..........please see a doc....most people laugh off little signals your body gives you....your hair loss was a good pick up by you now see a doc to make sure it's nothing else going on and he can help you find a stress reliever...like Xanax

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

Its normal 4 guys to lose hair but some guy lose it yunger and some lose it oldes

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

A bad spell. Look for an specialist who can break the spell!

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

Oh my gosh, I'm a 21 year old girl and the same thing is happening to me. I wash my hair and it just comes out. I've been really stressed to. Maybe thats it. I hope so for the both of us.

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

HA! I'm 21 and I have thinning hair. You need to relax.

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

If your hairdresser thinned it outr (she took jagged scissors and cut near the roots) then it is definately normal. I have to get my hair thinned out and I pretty much shed. A lot of times when people are stressed out, they tend to get gray hair or loss of hair. This also might be your case.

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

it's just natural some do lose it at a young age. Also if you want buy hair food and dye so it doesn't look like your loosing your hair.

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

First read the shampoo bottle and see if there are any sieffects then ask your hair stylist about what he did to your hair and see if that has anything to do with it. Then see a doctor

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

I would be very careful with any advice i got. There's a lot of snake oil out there. I'd recommend making an appointment with your Doctor as soon as possible.

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

Stress often causes a lot of hair loss. The cut you got 8 weeks ago is definitely not what caused this, it's physically not possible. Have you bleached your hair recently? Or chemically straightened or permed it? If your hair is overly damaged it could cause breakage. Otherwise, I hate to say it, but you might just be going bald, it definitely happens to men as young as 20.

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

Probably because your stressed out. I've heard that stressing out too much causes you to loose your hair.

It may possibly be your stylist, may not, but it's easier for you to judge it because YOU have the hair, not me.

But I doubt this one:

Maybe your stylist cut your hair, and still left some loose ones, and they are all falling out. Like I said, I doubt it. My little brother just demanded me to put it up.

Having cancer also causes you to loose hair, but don't get too worried. I doubt you have it.

But what I think, is because you are stressing out. Try and relax, let everything flow and maybe it would stop.

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

we were talking about this in class, maybe it's "androgenic alopecia"?

it's when young males in their 20's start to go bald, because of genetics. you should google it.

if it is.... then maybe you should just shave your head and go for the lex luthor look

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

Stress can cause hairloss.

I was super stressed and noticed I had thinned out patches.

It's growing back though.

Try to relax. It will probably grow back.

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

*being stressed does cause hair loss.

*so does to many different products

*and maybe its just genetics. when did ur dad start to lose your hair? your dad's dad?

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

Stress definately causes hair loss. When I was about 11 I got a bald patch the size of a quarter and my dermatoligist said it was due to stress. (Geesh what kind of 11 year old goes through that much streess right?) Well, that's what he and my doctor said. He perscribed a cream toput on my scalp and told me to relax. My hair grew back within no time. Plus it's around autumn and people tend to shed around this time of year. I know it sounds kinda like for an animal, but it's true for us humans 2. LOL

So go to a dermatologist and have them check you out.

Good luck!:)

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

Some males lose hair earlier than others

like my cousin he's 27 and he lost a lot of hair too i mean hes not like bald or anything but it deffinately thinned out. I wouldnt be too worried but if it falls out for more than like 1 year i would see a doctor

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

WHEN YOU GET STRESSED OUT THE HAIR CAN SUFFER FROM THE STRESS.

HELP!!!!! I'm losing hair all of a sudden~!?

Should I cut it or not?

With the short cuts coming into style, I've been thinking about going super short as well...my hair was pretty long when I decided to cut it to my shoulders about a month ago to get started...Now I'm looking at shorter styles, like paris's and posh spice, but I'm afraid that because I have a chubbier face then them it won't look that good on me. I've asked my hair stylist what they think and they said I should just add layers to the cut I already have...what do you think? What a pixie cut or shorter cut look bad on me? If not, do you have any suggestions for some hair cuts...heres a pic

http://a737.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/ima...

Should I cut it or not?

I think your hair looks great the way it is, but if you really want to go shorter, why not? Hair always grows back =]

Should I cut it or not?

try straightening your hair then using a wax, piece it out to make it all funky and cute. you can't go wrong! :-)

Should I cut it or not?

i think you should go with whatever you feel best with.

Should I cut it or not?

Leave it like that

dye it black it will look pretty on u

Should I cut it or not?

i think you should

get a tanktop so your boobs won't be hanging out of the dang picture.

kk thx :)

oh %26amp; dye your hair red and cut it..spiked.

Should I cut it or not?

grow it out and style it whenm its long

Should I cut it or not?

If you want it shorter, I say follow the hair stylist's suggestion with layers.

Should I cut it or not?

personally I don't think that should cut your hair shorter it looks good where its at

Should I cut it or not?

i like it the way it is :)

Should I cut it or not?

getting a haircut like rihannas and posh spice wont suit you. If you do want to go short, try chin length layers like maggie gyllenhall's http://images.askmen.com/galleries/actre... or mandy moore's old hair style http://z.about.com/d/beauty/1/0/a/G/mand... good luck, hope i've helped!

Should I cut it or not?

i don't think you would like the really short cuts with your round face. i agree i would put a lot of layers in it and not go any shorter then your chin.you are a very pretty girl but if you go short its going to look as if you gained weight.i too like the short sassy cuts but i too have a round face and the short cuts just do not work for me. oh by the way the longer the better for the new styles.the short is not going to be so popular the next couple of years. blonde is going out also the new trend is for darker shades of brown. i hope this helps. good luck with what ever you choose.

Hair stylists and layering in Palm Beach, FL??

I'm Asian with a round face, and my hair is as straight as it can ever be. I always ask when I get my hair cut to have long layers, but then never do it right. My hair is dark brown and I have a side-part. Are there any good hair stylists who can give me long layers in the Palm Beach area (FL)? And if I got long layers, should I get side-bangs, the ones that can be swept over?

Hair stylists and layering in Palm Beach, FL??

ok u need to show them a photo and go to a stylist that has a few yrs in her service i have been a stylist a long time and many newbees have a tough time doing layers so get a old hand then side bangs yup there cute and since your hair is so straight id go w.them a tad longer also very lite dark red thinn hi lites so sweet goodluck!!!!!!!

Hair stylists and layering in Palm Beach, FL??

Not sure if these might help. I can't find any Asian hair salon in Palm Beach though.....

You may want to try if you wish too. But I feel that only Asian is able to cut Asian's hair well. Caucasians can't do Asian's hair....I was told Asian hair is like wire last time....can't do the layers the way you want it too %26gt;%26lt;"

Need Hair Advice ~ Please Read?

My hair is currently all one length, and very boring. My grandparents are both hairdressers, and I really want to get side bangs and layers. However, they work out of their home, and (besides me) all their customers are old people with short, curly hair. I know they went to beauty school and stuff, but last time they cut my hair I ended up looking like a dork little kid. I have gotten my hair trimmed any styled at another salon, but nothing noticable. I love them a lot and everything, but I'd really like a younger, more trendy stylist to cut my hair. That's where my parents get their hair cut too, by the way. Please help! I really want a more stylish haircut, but I don't want to be sneaking behind their backs.

Need Hair Advice ~ Please Read?

Will your grandparents be ok if you get your hair cut by someone else? Or ask them hey look seems like grandma or(grandpa) does a better job cutting hair if I show them a picture? Sounds like the movie Steel Magnolia...Good luck

Just tell them exactly what you've just explained..

Or you could just say you wanna try something different. They'll understand.

If you give them a picture of what you want to get done, they will probably be able to do it.

solve the problem forever and cut and style it yourself (I do that) since you probably have the nack as well.

How should a brunette style/dye her hair?

I have short (a little above shoulder length), jet black hair. I got a hair cut when I donated my hair a few months ago, and ended up with a terribly short style that looked very childish. I wanted a style that looked sexy and chic, but now, after a few months of growing it out, am stuck with shapeless, boring, childlike hair. I really want to do something with it, but I am SO SCARED that the only thing the hair stylist will do in search of making my hair look different is cut my hair even shorter!

I've also considered dying my hair, either with just highlights or the whole head. I'd rather highlight it, though, because I think it looks more natural and flattering. However, because my hair is so dark (and thick), I don't really have many options besides bleaching it. I've seen how other people look when they bleach their jet black locks yellow/gold/orange, and I think it looks terrible.

Does anyone have any suggestions for sexy, chic, and classy hair styles for brunettes?

Thanks!

How should a brunette style/dye her hair?

Well, first, i would go down a few shades in color. Like dont go ffrom black hair to light brown, but to a darksih brown that would look good with blonde highlights. If u dont like blonde, then go down a few more shades, until ur hair would look good with the color of highlights you wnat. I would also add some layers and side bangs.I am no expert, but I hope I helped!

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

So I have naturally dark ashey blonde hair. For the past almost 2 years I have been dying my hair a very light platinum blonde from a box, doing my roots myself and everything. Recently when getting my hair cut at a very upper-scale salon I finally relented to my hair stylist and let him dye my hair (he hated the blonde.) He first did a stain which turned my hair red and then waited a few days a put the color on. My hair is now a medium to darkish brown and I am regretting it. I am not gonna go back to dying my hair blonde myself, because I know it will react differently on brown hair than on my natural dark blonde hair. But I really want my light blonde hair back. What would a stylist have to do to get it back to light blonde? And would my hair all die and fall out from being lightened so long, then darkened, then lightened again? I'm desperate for advice!!!

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

I would restructure your hair until it was in good condition, then I would do a heavy highlight....You do not want to go all over with the blond, because it almost never comes out evenly.

From what you have said already, your color experience was odd....Go to someone else....Get a consultation (this should be free)

When you feel that the colorist knows what is the best solution for you, then get your hair redone.

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

I did the same thing. I had to go back to a stylist, have my hair stripped and dyed blonde until it grew out. My hair didn't fall out, but it was a nasty texture for the next six months.....

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

Yeah but I think you have to use something that lightens it before you can get it blonde again, sorta like a base for paint

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

All they would have to do is bleach your hair and then dye it the blonde color you want. I really wouldnt worry about your hair being damaged, most dyes these days are actually extremely moisturizing for your hair since technology has come so far. Good luck!

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

i had the same problem!! i just went to walmart and bought a frost and glow kit and my hair was back to normal!! its maybe $10 and its with all the other hair dye products.

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

Your hair can be bleached and then dyed using the light blonde color of your choice.

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

First of all, your hair is already dead...everyone's is. I don't know what the effects would be on your hair follicles though. But I recommend you leave it alone until it grows out again to its natural color, then re-color it if you like.

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

bleach it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

well it's probably not gonna go back with just the box color your probably gonna have to wait a while and bleach it which sucks cause it is probably gonna damage your hair. If I were you I would get my money back. Never let them talk you into a color you don't want. Also for a while don't use a color protectant shampoo and conditioner cause you wanna make the brown fade as best you can before dyeing it or bleaching it. good luck hope this helped

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

im not a pro but i also dye my hair and have been for years. ya wanna know they best way to get your natural color back? let it grow out! i know i know...it takes so long and looks bad...but let it grow out enough so you (or your stylist) can see what color your roots are (your hair color can darken/lighten after a few years of dying it) and have them match that for the next dye...having dark hair you'll prolly need to bleach or strip it down then dye it back to the matched natural color (natural highlights too i guess) i just grow mine out and deal with having two hair colors (ive done this twice now...once with black dye and once with red -im a dark blonde too-) maybe your stylist doesnt know what theyre doing?

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

you go to the salon and have them remove the color with a color stripper then they color it what ever color you want. they also sell the color remover kit at the drug store. Next time remember it doesn't matter what the hair stylist thinks of your hair color if you like it. you might call the salon that you went to and ask them what you can do because you were talked into this hair color and you really don't like it.

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

LISTEN,YOUR GUY KNOW'S THE BEST TRUE COLOR FOR YOU,YOU PROBABLY LOOK GREAT! IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE ALL THE BROWN,GET A TOP FROST BRINGING BACK THE BLOND THAT YOUR USED TO. THIS HAIR COLORING IS SO BEAUTIFUL!

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

Your stylist can use a color remover, or bleach. You could also buy bleach yourself, but I wouldn't reccomend it since it's not neccisary.

If you don't want to bleach it, but want to do it at home, you can do one of two things:

1. Buy a color remover from any beauty supply store, like Sally's, and see it that lightens it enough to dye it a light blonde.

2. Dye it a medium blonde and 3 weeks later dye it a light ash blonde. This should leave you with a light blonde.

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

I am 21 now and I have been coloring my hair since I was 14, I have Dark Brown hair and I have had every color under the sun done to my hair, dont worry about it falling out at all, as long as you keep it conditioned it will be ok.As for going back blonde , it might take a few visits to get it back to the light blonde but it will get there, I hope this helps.

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

If you are really desperate then I guess bleaching would be the way to go. Then choose a nice darker shade of blonde. Mind you, your hair might look wiry after all this. I suggest against doing all that as it totally damages your hair and will take forever to mend.

I would dye it blonde again (DIY) and live with whatever yuck color that it turns out to be until the color grows out. From I hear from you, it would be a good break for your hair not to be treated for a while. Believe me, the feel of damaged hair on your head is NOT sexy at all.... good luck.

Can I get my hair back to blonde after dying it brown?

Hi

There's a product I've been reading about that might help http://www.folica.com/one__n_only_Col_d3... (try this link). Its called one n' only colorfix. I read some of the reviews on this (some people send in pictures, which make the product seem fab) and it is supposed to be great for removing colour and people tend to say that it doesn't damage the hair too much. Apparently it is different to bleaching but effective in removing unwanted colour. Not so good on semi-permanent though.

I haven't tried it myself yet though as it is out of stock but you might be able to find it elsewhere. Well worth checking out.

Hope this helps.

Hair phobia?

I need my hair cut.. it's getting way too long! I have some cute ideas that I want.. but I'm very unsure about my hair stylist.. so then I end up not getting my hair cut.. are there some ways I can best achieve the haircut that I want?? Without being scared to go??

Hair phobia?

look in magazines and stuff and don't be embarassed to show the stylist a picture of what u want! It ensures no miscommunications, or at least it should Good luck and be string! And always remember, if it doens't come out exactly perfect, than the diff between a good haircut and a bad haircut is 3 weeks- by then it'll have settled in on you, so go for it! do something different!

Hair phobia?

Do some research. If you're not sure about how you will look, I suggest buying on of those computer programs that lets you take a picture of yourself and then load it onto your computer and try different looks. It's really cool.

Hair phobia?

if you don't trust your stylist you really need to switch stylists. ask around amongst friends to see where they go and ask about their stylists. my stylist quit doing hair almost two years ago and i still haven't found a stylist. i feel your pain on being afraid to go!! go consult with a new stylist before committing to the sylist. a lot of stylists keep a portfolio with pictures of their work.

Hair phobia?

My out look on hair styles is that it is the one thing about your body you can easily change. If you don't like the color... change it... If you don't like what it was changed to then color over it... If you don't like the style... get it cut.... If you don't like it then... you can either cut more off of it, try a cute retro hairstyle.... or get extensions. My thing is it will always grow back .... so have fun with it! Don't be scared to change your hair... besides a new hairstyle may even add some fun and spice to life.

Good Luck - you can always try styles for cheaper at a hair acadamy. I would make sure that it is a trusted one though. Something like Gene Juarez... I pretty sure they have some sort of guarentee that if you don't like it they'll fix it for you until you do. Plus you know that there is someone certified to help them rather than some stranger in some little beauty shop doing a hack job on your hair.

Hair phobia?

Look around you! When you see someone with a haircut similar to the one you want and it looks really good, ask where they got it done and who did it! Then go make an appointment with that person. Or ask several people and if you find a pattern (which if you live in a somewhat medium-small town you might) go to that person. You can't tell how someone cuts hair unless you see someone who actually got their hair cut there. And if you are ever at a salon and you feel unsire of the person just leave. It isn't worth getting a horible haircut! Oh and when you go try to bring several pictures so you can point out what you like and dont like for each one. That gives the stylist a better idea of what to do. And once you find a good stylist remember his/her name and return to them.

Hair phobia?

OYE... I know!!! I was considering cutting my hair for 16 yrs... never had the guts to do it. One day I woke up feeling kinda gutsy, like I had attitude and decided to go in RIGHT AWAY and have them cut my hair. I did and it turned out great.... My point is.... Its just hair. If you dont like it, it will grow back! Good luck!

Hair phobia?

First of all, always take pictures of the look you want, or like. Discuss your type of hair and face shape with your operator. Consulting is the first key to relax you and your operator about what you want and expect, for both sides. A good operator listens first and then makes suggestions, with the software now available to view a look or color first, maybe that's the way to go first.

Male, thick long hair, teenager, many questions, hair salon, um... (Just take a look at the question

I'm a teenager (Asian) with really thick and poofy hair. Now I have a style chosen out, but the last time (slash first time) I went to a hair salon, they it didn't go so well (due to lack of communication. They spoke a different langauge.)

I've read about good places, but I've also read that just because a place is good, doesn't mean a stylist is good.

I've also read about how to deal with thick hair, but I've also read about how things could go wrong.

I have a lot of people at school used to how I look, so I really don't want to screw this up.

So I'm asking three questions here.

One: If I'm not so sure about how I want my hair to look, do I just ask them for someone to talk to?

Two: How do I know if the hair stylist is good?

Three: While I'm getting my hair cut, what should I look out for, or correct? (Yes, I'm very paranoid)

Bonus points for telling me what these words mean: layering technique, feathering, razor, shaggy look.

Male, thick long hair, teenager, many questions, hair salon, um... (Just take a look at the question.)?

1. Find a hair cutting place that speaks ur language (assuming english)

2. stylists from asia are very good. all my asian friends get their hair cut when they go back. trust me =)

3. look for eveness (sp) on both sides of ur head and don't forget the back

Layering = cuting hair so not all of it is the same length

Feathering = using a razor like thing to do the ends of layers and give ur hair a light flowing look (usually 4 girls)

Shaggy = i'm assuming choppy layer and uneveness 2 look "cool" ??

Male, thick long hair, teenager, many questions, hair salon, um... (Just take a look at the question.)?

ok, i have been a hairdresser for 18 yrs, so maybe i can help shed some light on this for you. 1st you said you are Asian? right? They tend to have very thick straight "hard to do anything with" hair. I would not change too much-- especially if you dont want to "shock and awe" i have seen awesome Asian cuts that have been lightened.--but maybe another time. Layering is a technique achieved by holding the hair straight up and cutting. this creates purposeful uneven layers of hair. because of how stiff Asian hair is, i don't recommend this unless you are willing to chemically process your hair to make it softer. feathering is the same thing. the word became the click word of the 70's and early 80's--farrah facett (sorry about that spelling) is the classic example.razor cutting is just what is says. it is a cut done by eye, hand and razor. usually to thin out hair--however i again caution you on this because of how stiff the hair tends to be. for a shaggy look you will need one of the above techniques to be done.

since i dont know what exactly you look at i have to guess for a style. so one that has tended to look good on asian boys it cut at the shoulder rounded and tapered at the ends. get a bang that follows the natural flow of your face down towrd the chin to meet perfectly thith the tapered back. over the ears. taper the side to but less than in the back.

unfortunately there is no real way to tell if a hairdresser is any good. ask who your friends go to.... if it is embarassing to bring up, say "my mom was looking for a new hair dresser ..any ideas" once you found someone you like DON'T LOSE THEM. i know how hard it is to find someone you like. You have every right to be paraniod. after all this is your looks that someone is gonna mess with.

bring a picture. a good one. that will be helpful, and remember you are not the person in the picture--don't expect the hairdresser to make you into him.

hope this helps.

Male, thick long hair, teenager, many questions, hair salon, um... (Just take a look at the question.)?

Ok, first question. Find someone that has a hair style you like that also has hair similar to yours (hair type, hairline etc.) This is important, one hair style might look good on one person but not the other because of things like face shape, hair type:fine, wavy etc... take these things into consideration, then ask them who they use for a hair stylist. Then you know you can trust the stylist. Also ask the person what type of hair cut they recieved. layering technique is a hair cut in layers with regular scissors, feathering is a certain cut which was popular in the late 70's, a razor cut is done using a razor, which is good if you want your hair to have a less defined cut, and the shaggy look is usually done with a razor where hair is cut in different lengths all over the head.

Can I get this permanent dye out of my hair?

The last time I had my hair cut, my stylist suggested a partial foil, or highlights. I liked them over the summer but after having them done twice, they're a pain, and I really like my natural hair. Is there any way to get this dye out or do I have to wait until it grows out?? Maybe if you know how to make it fade.... remember it's permanent (blonde and my natural color is dirty blonde).

Can I get this permanent dye out of my hair?

Highlights remove color to lighten the hair and add a tone after lightening. If you get a semi-permanent color from the store that is close to your natural color (Natural Instincts) you should be able to take care of the highlights. I have done this before. You might still have ends slightly lighter but it should still look natural.

Can I get this permanent dye out of my hair?

ok well i got highlights and i thought that they would be great and you know what...they are a pain! i am in the same boat as you are and the sad part about it is i got my highlights done in the beginning of 7th grade and i am a freshman now and they are like half way faded and the look so stupid! i mean i wish that i had never gotten them done because i love my natural hair color and i am always at baseball games so my highlights get lighter by the day so the only thing that i would recommend is to stay out of the sun or you'll end up like me and i don't think that you can change your hair color back unless you get your hair striped of its color. i think there is a treatment that strips your hair of unnatural color so you might have to look into that and do some research. hope i helped!

Can I get this permanent dye out of my hair?

Just color it to meet your closest natural color. Get a dirty blonde hair dye. Stay away from ash though it will turn your hair green. NO Kidding other than I would say shave it. or you could bleach out your hair color or just let it grow out. those are basically your options.

Can I get this permanent dye out of my hair?

the best thing for your hair is to let it grow out but there are some processes where they use chemicals to remove the dye, but this can be damaging to your hair and scalp.

Can I get this permanent dye out of my hair?

permanent=permanent... as in p.e.r.m.a.n.e.n.t

Can I get this permanent dye out of my hair?

When I colored my hair using a box dye (premanent color), it came out the complete wrong color and i looked like a clown, lmao. I called the help line on the back of the box and they told me to wash my hair several times with Head and Shoulders Shampoo, and to keep using it. It helps to take some of the color out, not all of it cuz after all it is permanent color, but it does help. And if nothing else, make it less noticable.

Good Luck

Can I get this permanent dye out of my hair?

ok so when you get your hair highlighted, what the process is actually doing is taking the color out of your hair, meaning it wont just come back one day. You have three options:

1. Leave it in

2. Cut all the highlights out....not a good idea unless you want to cut all your hair really short

3. Color over it.

Personally i would cut it out if you want to keep your hair the same color. better a few months of short hair then years of bad hair dying experiences(your hair may start to fall out if you dye it to much) and who knows maybe you'll find a new hairstyle you like in the process. =D GOOD LUCK!

Hair trimming?

Nowadays I see lot of girls, ladies trim their hair for about 1 or 2 inches every month or alternate month. I think the main reason for cutting the hair for 1 or 2 inches is because of split ends. I also see lot of hair stylist recommend and advise all people that when you have spilit ends cut your hair for 1 or 2 inches. I also see some recommend to go for reguler hair trimming so that the more you cut your hair grows. Is it true? Please comment whether ladies or girls should go for reguler hair cut for about 1 or 2 inches every month for the hair to grow faster or if they have spilit ends.Because I had this problem at my home when my wife is wanting to go for trimming her long hair 1 or inches. Yesterday when we went out she went to mens saloon and asked the barber to cut her hair and by the time I could see what was happening the barber cut 2 inches of my wife hair neatly trimmed. Please advise

Hair trimming?

trim your hair about every 6 weeks. It will get longer that way and help it grow. and it is a good way to get rid of split ends

Hair Help!!!! Dopes anyonen know what fantasias hair cut called when she was in good morning america today?

What????

Are you sure it would be an acceptable hair cut in the 3rd grade?

I have curly hair and I'm thinking about getting side-swept bangs...?

Last time I got my hair cut the stylist said I'd have to straighten my bangs every day, which I'm ok with, but do you think straight bangs would look ok with curly hair?

I have curly hair and I'm thinking about getting side-swept bangs...?

i straighten my bangs when my hair is curly... but most the time i just straighten everything... as long as your hair isn't afro curly you'll be fine

I have curly hair and I'm thinking about getting side-swept bangs...?

my friend has that. i think it looks pretty

I have curly hair and I'm thinking about getting side-swept bangs...?

it's should be ok. but hopefully your hair isn't like mine because then your bangs will be very curly. i have long, curly hair and the shorter it is, the curlier. i mean, so curly that even the wind would make the hair i straightened curly, which was a pain in the butt. '

but otherwise the style is cute. i always wanted to do that. good luck

I have curly hair and I'm thinking about getting side-swept bangs...?

yeah it does i do it cuz i hav curly hair and got side bangs 2 but make sure u use something that protects ur hair from damage

I have curly hair and I'm thinking about getting side-swept bangs...?

you can also style a wavy side swept bang if your worried about the curly/straight contrast

I have curly hair and I'm thinking about getting side-swept bangs...?

yea it looks very pretty but the thing is u can damge ur hair by burning so yea it looks nice tho but its bad...

I have curly hair and I'm thinking about getting side-swept bangs...?

i have curly 2!! you don't have 2 straighten ur bangs u always can blow dry them.....and it looks fine w/ curly hair !! soo cute!!

I have curly hair and I'm thinking about getting side-swept bangs...?

How to straighten bangs Without a Straightener

I have curly hair and I'm thinking about getting side-swept bangs...?

I have only had bangs when I was little but I think they look cute curly too~Even with hair a different style then your bangs;)

I would do them how you like them~

Sometimes a stylist doesn't really know "your hair," ya know what I mean?

Try them both ways and see what you think works for you;)Good luck!

Hair color advice?

I am only 28 and I have tons of grey hair already! I have very pale skin, dark blue eyes, and my natural hair color is dark brown, but it looks reddish sometimes. The last time I went to a salon for a hair cut, the stylist told me that she did not know what color to recommend because of my pale skin. I thought that was so rude, but I know that there is a color to suit everyone. (I just won't go back to that particular salon!!) Any advice for me on what shades would be best? Thanks :)

Hair color advice?

cut it off it will have a great color.

Hair color advice?

ok well i have lots of friends with really pale skin and honestly maybe a sandy blonde ot carmel color dark colors will make u look extremely pale so stay away form those an the other hand Bleah blonde may not be the best choice either. chose a light colr that u think u would like.

Hair color advice?

I have almost identical coloring to you and I started going gray early too. My stylist took me back close to my original natural color and it looks great - she just aded a few small highlights around my face. If you go light or very blonde (as one stylist did with me), you'll look washed out.

Definitely don't go back to the salon - she was rude and she showed her lack of knowledge. Your natural color or something close to it will work fine.

Hair color advice?

I have pale skin and freckles and I like my hair dark brown best. So what if I'm pale I like it.

If you want to look darker go for a lighter brown or dark blonde. Strawberry blonde may look nice or a brownish auburn color.

Hair color advice?

I think there's no better color than the one God gave ya.. and there are all kinds of colors these days (especially in a good salon) that will match perfectly with what you have. Even those pretty red shimmer you sometimes get. :)

As to that salon girl... the best revenge would be to go there, ask for her, tell her what you want.... then don't tip her. ;-) Be sure to tell her why. She's supposed to be a professional..

How would i cut my hair if i wanted?

what would i tell the stylist if i wanted my hair to be cut like my avatar. is that layered hair? b/c i want layered hair...like not the oldies layered hair, where it sticks out the side. i just want my hair to be be like shorter on the top and longer underneath. is that layerd hair??

How would i cut my hair if i wanted?

Take a picture- I like this:

Happy Holidays!

How would i cut my hair if i wanted?

yep that's layered haircut

don't worry

they will have magazines there or hairstyle books so you can choose your hairstyle

many celebrities have layered hairstyle these days

:)

How would i cut my hair if i wanted?

Yep.

But iF Yew Want To Be More Precise Of What Yew Want Then Buy A Hair Magazine [Available From WHSmith etc] And Show Yooh're Hairdresser An Image Yew Like.

[=

How would i cut my hair if i wanted?

Layered hair is where some pieces of hair are longer (on the bottom) and other pieces of hair are shorter (on the top). I think that your avatar does have layered hair but I'm not positive because the picture of your avatar is pretty small. I have layered hair and I really like it. You should do it too. Just to make sure, tell the stylist that you want longer pieces of hair on the bottom and shorter pieces of hair on top 'cause some stylists don't know a ton about hair or aren't very experienced! Just to be on the safe side! You should do it because layered hair is really cute and it is good to do something different with your hair once in a while. Good Luck! :)

How would i cut my hair if i wanted?

Print out the picture and show your hair-cutter the hair. Say you want it like that style.

Does anyone know of a great black hair stylist in Birmingham, Al?

I want to get a very short cut but I don't know where to go for the style I want. I want something like Halle Berry's when she was in the James Bond movie. Something like this:

http://www.speedace.info/films_movies_ac...

I used to go to a salon in Fairfield, and the stylists were awesome, but they were sooooo ghetto and unprofessional. I waited for them to start on my hair for three hours one day, and I had an appointment!!! Anybody know of a professional salon that can do and maintain a style like this? In Birmingham, Al?

Does anyone know of a great black hair stylist in Birmingham, Al?

Call the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce for recommendations of stylists in your area. Businesses that join the Chamber are usually professional. Then call the stylists and ask them for some REFERRALS of their customers. If you don't get referrals chances are they're not good!

How awful to be left waiting THAT LONG.. with an appointment, no less! My mother was left waiting an hour for a pedicure recently. No need to say she won't be going back there... and they gave her no reason or apology afterwards. That's in Cody, WY!!! Poor customer service knows no limits.

My hair is really fine and splits easily. any advice on how to grow it out?

I use all the expensive salon quality products for fine hair and it does not grow and gets really dry and I get split ends. Every time I get a hair cut the stylist tells me to cut off a bunch because of my split ends!! How can I grow it out when they want to cut it all the time??

My hair is really fine and splits easily. any advice on how to grow it out?

cut your split ends, and do you want longer fine hair or soemthing? if you do use horse shampoo my friends told me that. I think some of the expensive hair products made your hair prevent them from growing and causes a lot of split ends.

My hair is really fine and splits easily. any advice on how to grow it out?

Go to regis and by the product design line olive oil shampoo and conditioner . It will help . You can also get it at the walmart salon smart choice i think that is what it is called . Good luck .

My hair is really fine and splits easily. any advice on how to grow it out?

i have fine, thin hair that is prone to split ends. i get it cut every 6 weeks and i don't scrimp on the cut. it is worth it to pay more. i use Pureology shampoo and conditioner -it's expensive, but a little goes a long way! i don't use a blow dryer and i keep the products to a minimum.

My hair is really fine and splits easily. any advice on how to grow it out?

do you use a hairdryer or a hair ironing thing, as these can damage your hair and cause you to get split ends, your hair can't grow as it's being fried to death. I suggest getting it cut and don't use to much products in your hair and let it dry naturally and put treatment in it everyother day and see how you go.But if you have fine hair it won't look good to grow it out too much shoulder lenght is as good as it will look, If you grow it too long it will look ratty and make it more weak, you could try extentions to give you a fuller look and allow your hair to grow underneath.

My hair is really fine and splits easily. any advice on how to grow it out?
