My hair is really fine and splits easily. any advice on how to grow it out?

I use all the expensive salon quality products for fine hair and it does not grow and gets really dry and I get split ends. Every time I get a hair cut the stylist tells me to cut off a bunch because of my split ends!! How can I grow it out when they want to cut it all the time??

cut your split ends, and do you want longer fine hair or soemthing? if you do use horse shampoo my friends told me that. I think some of the expensive hair products made your hair prevent them from growing and causes a lot of split ends.

i have fine, thin hair that is prone to split ends. i get it cut every 6 weeks and i don't scrimp on the cut. it is worth it to pay more. i use Pureology shampoo and conditioner -it's expensive, but a little goes a long way! i don't use a blow dryer and i keep the products to a minimum.

do you use a hairdryer or a hair ironing thing, as these can damage your hair and cause you to get split ends, your hair can't grow as it's being fried to death. I suggest getting it cut and don't use to much products in your hair and let it dry naturally and put treatment in it everyother day and see how you go.But if you have fine hair it won't look good to grow it out too much shoulder lenght is as good as it will look, If you grow it too long it will look ratty and make it more weak, you could try extentions to give you a fuller look and allow your hair to grow underneath.
