I'm a hair stylist and I think so. Most people come in our salon just to cut and then curl their hair. Then we charge them $75! Thats way way too much money.

I think so also! They cost you a fortune these days. I used to go to a salon and then tell them to cut my hair up to my shoulders and then perm it. They did a pretty good job but it cost 63 dollars!!! I don't spend that much money anymore. I have 3 younger sisters and so they love doing my hair. So they do it.

hell yeah,especially in a high price spa or rich town,but i guess you pay for a well done job ,some of those places like supercuts suck and do a shitty job so i guess its worth it to pay more

I think so too...but not every place is that way. You must work in a place where people make a lot of money...therefore are more willing to spent it. What can you do though....buisiness is buisineess...and if your demand is still high.....they will keep on charging a high price. I personally do not think it is worth it.....but I suppose people feel good thiking that since they paid so much...it must be better than others....though you know this is not necessarily true. If you feel bad or guilty....try going somewhere else. Make your own studio...charge your own prices. Make your own name. Good luck and live life the best way you know how.

Extremely too much. Everybody charges different prices so it's always best to ask around before getting the job done. I went from stylist to stylist until I finally found a good one and at a decent price
