Do stylist cut all types of hair when it is wet?

or is it just straight hair?

I have curly hair and I wanna cut it, I just want to know if they cut curly hair wet or if it has to be straighten first.

Hair is cut wet because the water causes the hydrogen bond to break down and it can be almost straightened to cut it even. You also get more even tension on the hair. You will never get it even when dry whether it is curly or straight and your scissors will get dull very quickly.

yes, they do. i have curly hair and they ALWAYS spray it with water prior to cutting. this is because when it's wet its easier to equalise the length of the hair and style it.

yeah you cut all hair wet. except if you are cutting the back of guys hair with clippers, but other then that all hair is usually cut wet. If you are scared to have your hair cut cause it is curly then just find a stylist who has curly hair. Most people who have it know how to cut it.
