Creative hair stylist?

How many hair stylist would like to have a client who tell them that if they want to experiment any kind of creative hair cut, dye, or styling the client is willing to be their guinea pig?

I like a unique creative hair cut so I want to tell my stylist if she ever come up with anything she want to try, she can use me to test out her idea. Would hair stylist like that or not?

Yes, we stylists generally love that. We love to be able to look at a person's face shape, hair type and condition, growth patterns, etc. lifestyle and styling abilities, budget, professional life, all of that and design something that is unique to the client. For those of us who are career minded and creative, it's what we live for! Go ahead - make a hairdressers' day!!!

My daughter is a hairstylist and sometimes I don't know what I'm going to look like for sure! She has done some wild things to hair but the client always asked to have it done that way. I don't think most stylists would "experiment" just to try something. Legal issue and all.

I do hair styling on the side and all of my clients are like that. I know their personalities and they trust that I will do something they will like. I always explain my idea to them before I do it, just to make sure they are okay with it. Some of them like to be on the edge and dont even want to know what colour or cut im doing till the final product! Its great though, I love it personally, and Im sure most other stylists would as well.

Although you may need to convey your personality, and fashion sense so your stylists can get a good idea of what would suit your character. example: if you like a punk edge, or you like designer looks. As well what is your job, your hair style needs to suit your daily schedule,,... think about how much time you can put into it, do you need a style thats quick and easy or can you manage something more intricate?
