Who has their hair point cut on the ends or layers?

Just wondering if you like it or have any problems with it cut like that. A stylist point cut my hair allot after I told her not to do it allot. I told her that I did not want my hair to look thin or frayed. She said she would point cut the layers just a little and it would not look thin or frayed. well, she did exactly what I asked her not to do and the ends look horrible. Does anyone have any experience with this type of hair cut good or bad? I'm just curious . On my hair I think it makes it look like troll doll hair, kind of like a razor cut.

actually I like when the ends are thin, it gives a "wispy" look..

next time, if you say you DON'T want something, and they say "just a little" stick to your "NO" and make it clear you don't want it.

You might not be styling it correctly for the cut. Use a shampoo meant for straight hair (Regis makes a fantastic one....only available at salons). Then use a smoothing balm in your hair from roots to tips. It gives layered hair more definiton and makes the ends look more styled.

Yes.I already had different hair styles...It's so amazing having tried different hair styles. Many women are not aware of this fact that is nice to try and experience different hair styles sometime in your life. It's fun,and it gives you great feelings to know that you look pretty whatever style of hair your wearing for that matter. So,don't worry about your new layered haircut because i had that kind of hair style for one year.It looks great my dear.No worries. I know you're pretty with any type of hair.Just carry yourself well with confidence, even when you're bald it doesn't really matter.Remember the movie G.I.Jane?Demi Moore was bald, right? But she was still gorgeous and beautiful with her hair. Go girl! enjoy your new hairstyle.Anyway,if you really don't like that kind of hairstyle you can have it grown back after few months though. So don't worry. It would never look like a troll doll hair like you said.Just put a hair lotion if you want to have it styled differently.I do that to my hair also.
