you should tip at least 25 to 30 percent... especially when it comes to childrens haircuts, they are more difficult..... and if you really like the stylist, give him/her a great tip. One thing with stylists, if you really like the cut, color, craftsmanship they provide, show it to them.... It will make return trips pleasurable for both parts. Great hair designers are worth a good tip and going back to... you never know the bond you can make with them!

so what's your question? To get a full color job it costs $60 here. Highlights are expensive, especially when done by someone who really knows what they are doing. Ok, so let's say you had a touch-up done (use the same materials for a touch up as a highlight), so that's say $45+/- plus 2 haircuts that's $15+/- at the lowest, and then a $10 tip....equals $70....so your $64 sounds about right to me.
