Asking for scene hair from stylist?

hey, I have medium-longish light brown hair, and I want scene hair, and I'm getting my hair cut on the 30th of this month, and I want the shag look kinda... but don't know how to ask for it... like, she's gonna want details, obviously, but I kinda want the short choppy layers at the top and have the bottm layer come down straight, if you know what I mean... can someone else say my idea with a bit more detai, please? I don't want to bring in a picture because the salon I go to is like a top-notch salon, and I don't want to look funny, you know? haha... thanks!

you shouldn't feel silly bringing in a picture, I encourage my clients to bring photo's in..it helps me so much. It's harder to try and read someones mind!

After reading you ? I think a lot of what you want is A) a cut and B) a style, we cant cut your hair to be straight only on the bottom...that's u taking the time in the morning to style it.

Here's my answer....find a pic you like and bring it in, if your stylist acts like a snot about it then find a new one, because in the end she doesn't have your best interests in mind
